About the workshop

If you love expressive mark making and always wanted to acquire those bold expressive gestures on your pastel paintings, this workshop was tailor made for you. We’re going to experiment and learn expressive pastel techniques with the vibrant colors of pastel sticks to create a bold and vibrant seascape.

 

In this workshop we’ll work with my step by step method to build our expressive seascape artwork. We will learn a technique to transfer reference images to the paper without the use of any expensive equipment and how to build up from the big shapes to the small final marks.

 

I will guide you personally throughout the process and in the end you will be able to apply this method yourself and develop your own expressive pastel seascapes.
